GeoSmart is going from strength to strength, posting an increased revenue of £1.85 million in 2022-23, while its flood risk consultants recorded a 58% rise in demand from clients over the past 12 months. This was great news for the business and also for local people as demand led to new jobs and the need for the business to take on additional premises.
We were tasked with creating a press release that highlighted the success of the business, with the aim of placing in specialist trade publications and local press. The campaign resulted in 11 separate pieces of coverage and the story appeared in primary targets including Water Magazine, Shropshire Star and the Business Desk. The story also led to a feature in The Insurance Times.
Additionally, Geosmart was awarded a UK Space Agency contract to explore how satellite technology can help water resource management and disaster mitigation. Again we worked with the team and the agency to understand the story and where best to place it. It was successfully placed with 20 titles, including the CIR and also ran on Gov.uk.
