We’ve collaborated with Stoford since 1999, helping to showcase its commercial property portfolio through PR, design and digital marketing. Having kicked off a PR campaign to announce to Stoford’s plans for the scheme, we turned our attention to brewing up a brand design that would reflect and celebrate Typhoo Wharf’s vibrant future.
Digbeth, known for its street art and independent spirit, has attracted a flourishing creative community, and was named 'coolest neighbourhood in Britain' in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live. The Typhoo Wharf scheme aims to build on this reputation by introducing new residential and commercial spaces, enhancing public areas, and improving transport connections.
Abstract lines and vibrant colour gradients are energetic and represent light, movement and innovation, with the gradual blend of colours suggesting progression and growth. Combined, they create a strong brand graphic encompassing the location through a visual representation of the spray from the paint cans and the vibrant colours used to create street art.
From the physical work involved to develop the site, to the bustling destination Typhoo Wharf will become, the site will be a place of constant energy and motion. This bold, playful, and dynamic brand embodies that movement, resonating with the creative community it seeks to draw in.
